“They say worse things happen at sea and here is the proof. From the perils of stealing dreams to the danger of your own imagination welcome to Piracy. Here are tales of the high seas, the skies and even space, filled with fierce women, strange beasts and adventure.”
Fox Spirit Books released ‘Piracy’, the first of the Fox Pockets book series, today. I’m so happy to have my little story “Nora” appear in this anthology.
Nora is the first story in English I got published, so it’s extra dear to me. It was one of the winners of Fox Spirit Books’ International Talk Like a Pirate Day story competition. I’m thrilled that it now has gotten such a wonderful home in company with such talented writers. A big thank you to editor and publisher Adele Wearing.
The gorgeous cover is by talented artist Sarah Anne Langton.
The book is now available as a paperback through Lulu here.
Ebook will be released in about a month.
See the announcement from Fox Spirit Books here.

Ordering this. Can’t wait! If the other stories are half as good as “Nora”, it’ll be a great addition to my bookshelves.
Uh-oh, the Lulu page says “Hmmm, we can’t find this product, but we have many other great offerings!” Will go check on the Fox Spirit website to see if there is an updated link.
Thanks for seeing this. Try this link: http://www.lulu.com/shop/various/fox-pockets-vol-1-piracy/paperback/product-21058618.html I’ll update the blog post.

Perfect! The new link works. 🙂
Excellent! Hope you enjoy the book. I can’t wait to get the contributor copy in my book shelf 🙂
Brilliant. Will have to have a read. By the way, have you read Teresa Svoboda’s “Pirate Talk”? It’s superb.
Thank you so much, Will. I hope you’ll like it. I haven’t read Svobida, but will search for her now. Thank you. 🙂
