My debut book The Stars Seem So Far Away has received some lovely reviews lately.
Book blogger Imyril writes: “This is a quiet, unexpectedly gentle novel of brief sentences that implies as much as it tells. The magic for me was in the gaps it leaves for your imagination to fill and the successful evocation of the northern chill.” Read the full review here.
The book has also received a few reviews on Goodreads lately, see here. Author David Sarsfield calls the book a”well-knitted tapestry of human experience belonging to a varied and nuanced world.” Read the full review here.
Thank you all for taking the time and the kind words.
No new reviews at Amazon, but note that Fox Spirit Books runs a contest, ending, September 7th, on Facebook. If you post a review on any Amazon for any of Fox Spirit Books’ titles, and leave the link in the comments on the Facebook page, you’ll have a chance to win an exclusive Fox Spirit ‘For Fox Sake Read’ mug. It doesn’t have to be new review, it can be an earlier review you have on your blog or elsewhere.
If you are interested in reviewing my debut book, you are welcome to contact me or Adele Wearing at Fox Spirit Books for a review copy.
I will also attend Fantasycon by the Sea and the British Fantasy Awards ceremony, since the book is shortlisted to Best Collection. Hope to see you there.
